Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
This policy applies to all Kessa plans, however and wherever you bought them.
Our plans, prices and billing periods differ depending on where you buy: directly from us at kessahealth.com, or through the Apple App Store. The current price and billing period for your plan are shown on our pricing page and, for purchases made inside the app, on the purchase screen before you confirm.
Some terms in this policy depend on where you bought your plan. Where that is the case, we say so. Where the terms of the store you bought through conflict with this policy, the store's terms govern that purchase.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee — annual plan bought directly from us
If you buy an annual plan directly from us at kessahealth.com, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase, for any reason. See section 3.1 for how.
Monthly plans do not carry this guarantee. Plans bought through the Apple App Store are refunded by the store under the store's own policies, and are not covered by this guarantee — see section 3.2.
2. Free trials
We offer a seven-day free trial on the monthly plan bought directly from us at kessahealth.com. At the end of the trial, the plan renews automatically at the then-current monthly price unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial, using the same method you used to sign up, and you will not be charged.
Plans bought through the Apple App Store do not include a free trial unless the purchase screen says otherwise before you confirm. Where a trial is offered there, its length and terms are the ones shown on that screen, and the store manages it.
3. How to request a refund
How you request a refund depends on where you bought your plan. If you are not sure, open Settings → Subscription in the Kessa app; that screen names the store or payment method that handles your plan.
3.1 If you bought directly from us at kessahealth.com. Email hello@kessahealth.com within 30 days of your purchase and ask for a refund. We process approved refunds to your original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
3.2 If you bought through the Apple App Store. Apple, not Kessa, is the seller for plans bought inside our iOS app. Apple processes all refunds for those purchases, and we cannot issue, approve or decline one. To ask Apple for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find your Kessa purchase and choose the option to request a refund. Apple decides these requests under its own policies and timeframes, which are not the same as the 30 days described in section 1.
3.4 Cancelling is not the same as asking for a refund. Cancelling stops future charges. It does not, by itself, return money you have already paid. If you want both, cancel and then follow the steps above for wherever you bought.
4. Cancelling your membership
How you cancel depends on where you bought your membership.
If you bought from us at kessahealth.com — Open Account Settings and select Cancel Membership. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew.
If you bought through the Apple App Store — Apple is the seller of record for App Store purchases and manages cancellation. Cancel from your Apple Account subscription settings, following Apple’s instructions. We cannot cancel an App Store membership for you, and cancelling inside our app will not stop an App Store charge. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Not sure which you have? Email hello@kessahealth.com and we will check and tell you.
You do not need to give a reason, and we will not require you to call or wait for a reply before your cancellation takes effect.
5. Renewal, price and term
Memberships renew automatically at the end of each membership period until cancelled. Your membership period, the amount you will be charged, and the date of your next charge are the ones shown to you before you completed your purchase and repeated in your purchase confirmation. Current prices and terms for the memberships we offer today are shown on our pricing page.
We will not increase your renewal price without telling you first. If we change it, we will give you notice before the change takes effect, so you can cancel under Section 4 beforehand.
6. Refunds after the first 30 days, and on renewals
The guarantee described in this Section 6 applies only to annual plans purchased directly from Kessa at kessahealth.com. It does not apply to annual plans purchased through the Apple App Store; refunds for those purchases are requested from Apple and are governed by Apple’s refund policies, as described in Section 1. If anything in this Section 6 conflicts with Section 1, Section 1 controls, and nothing in this Section limits any right you may have under applicable consumer law.
Annual plan. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers your initial purchase only. Renewal charges are not separately refundable, but you can cancel anytime before a renewal to avoid the next charge.
Monthly plan. The monthly plan does not carry the 30-day guarantee. You can cancel anytime before a renewal date to avoid the next charge; the charge already made for your current month is not refunded, and you keep access through the end of that month.
