They don’t show you protein.

Under the FDA menu labeling rule, chains with 20+ locations must display calories on the board. Protein sits on the “available in writing upon request” list — which means, in practice, nowhere. So we looked it up.

No estimates. A chain we couldn’t verify isn’t here. No third-party databases, with one named exception: KFC’s figures come from the nutrition portal kfc.com embeds, and its page says so.
